The first of the informal 1020 mid-month, mid-week pub meetings to place on 17 May at the Barley Mow near Wimborne where the near perfect weather encouraged many club members to bring out their MGs. The display in the car park included a good cross section of MGBs plus an MGC, a pair of MGTFs and a ZT.
A contingent of 30 club members attended and most enjoyed a meal in the restaurant although admittedly the service was a little slow and the one lady doing all the work appeared to be under pressure.
Most people were grateful for no speeches, no competitions and no raffle – just the opportunity to meet-up and chat with fellow MG enthusiasts.
