7 cars made the journey from Bournemouth to Forde Abbey Nr. Chard to take part in the Annual Summer Fair and Classic Car Show. The weather was wonderful, if anything rather too warm for some people.
The event was a great success, both for the organisers and for the Marie Curie Cancer Trust, who were the main beneficiaries.
This mid-week event, usually taking place on the last Thursday of July, attracts many different cars and car clubs and the MG marque was very well represented.
There were many stalls and food outlets to tempt us, not forgetting the micro-brewery and local cider stalls – very much appreciated in the heat!
I strongly recommend this relaxing event set in the lovely grounds of the Abbey.
