Later on, the front display was rearranged while Terry took his old Roadster for a spin….
(Patrick’s Roadster used by Michael Caine in the 1972 film ‘Sleuth’ is on the left, the WA Tickford formerly owned by "Goldie" Gardner is in front of the entrance, and TWO XPower SV’s of only 6 or 7 privately owned in the world; the white 1952 saloon is owned by a well-known local editor!!).

Thanks to everyone who helped on the day and to those who couldn’t come but sent in a donation, and especially for a couple of magnificent donations on the day. Thanks to all the trade stands and especially Seward Poole. A very special thanks to Patrick & Andrea Cooke for allowing MG’s all over their lawns once again.

The total raised on the day plus sponsorship & donations has reached £2779!

The proceeds will pay for more sensory & play equipment for the new log cabin at our Smithers Short-Stay Childrens Home.

And a final thank you to ….. NIGEL !
