1020 marked national Drive It Day with a Spring Road Run and Pub Lunch that started with coffee and cakes at the Sammy Miller Museum before heading into the picturesque New Forest with occasional glimpses of the Isle of Wight.
The scenic 46-mile road route was tacked by 21 club cars ranging from an early TA through to a modern all-electric MG4 and while MGBs dominated as usual there was also a TD, MGA, RV8, ZS, MGTF, MGF and MGC and a pair of MGB V8s.
The route took participants through Sway, Brockenhurst, Beaulieu and Exbury to Lepe (with those views across to the Isle of Wight) and then back via Lymington and Milford-on-Sea before 42 people sat down for a roast lunch at The Amberwood pub at Walkford.
The next seasonal road run will be on Sunday 28 July and include a picnic lunch at Damerham Village Hall near Fordingbridge.
