A packed room for our bank holiday Monday meeting enjoyed a talk from our guest speaker Rob Curtis. His subject this evening covered many old pub signs abd their history, together with some of the lesser known stories and history of Dorset’s pubs. These stories went from the ordinary to murder ‘most foul’. I feel sure that we all learned much from this talk, Rob is a very professional speaker who is also a Wessex tourist guide.
