Organised by the three Southern Region secretaries, this weekend away never disappoints. Held at the property made famous by the TV program ‘To the Manor Born’ the organising team go out of their way to ensure everyone has a good time. From Champagne receptions, fancy dress, gala dinners and field sports, including ‘Welly Wanging’ we were kept entertained. These events were supplemented by superb entertainment provided by the hotel. Cricket St. Thomas is an excellent setting for this type of event and I hope that it will be repeated in 2017. Our thanks go to the organising team for all their hard work to produce such a wonderful weekend for us.
