David Warhurst gave his presentation “The Poole Cockle Trail” to the club. A very interesting tour of many of the old and historical sites of Poole all marked by a brass casting in the shape of a cockle shell or in some cases by a moulded tile. The talk lasted just over one hour and provided many of the assembled members with a wealth of hitherto unknown information regarding the development of Poole.
