The Sir Walter Tyrrell pub in the New Forest was filled with 100 members and guests from other region 10 clubs, for our Christmas lunch on Sunday 8th December. The atmosphere in the pub was excellent with Christmas hats, seasonal pullovers and reindeer antlers well in evidence, not forgetting Mother Christmas (Gillian Hales) selling raffle tickets. Some cars were also beautifully dressed up for the occasion. This year the collection of gifts for the Women’s Refuge outdid all previous years and we also received many lovely prizes for the raffle. I thank all of you who donated presents and prizes. The proceeds of the raffle, £210, will go to the ‘Dogs for the Disabled’ charity.
