The timing of the talk, by the Mary Rose Trust representatives, could not have been more appropriate, taking place 4 days after the opening of the new museum. The talk included descriptions of the building of the Mary Rose and life on board. Trevor and Cheryl wore Tudor clothing and provided replicas of some of the artefacts found on board for us to examine and guess their usage. The room was full to capacity and it was agreed that it had been one of our most successful club night talks.
