30 cars met in sunshine at Pamphill Dairy ready for a 10.00 am start on the 90 mile spring run which also coincided with National Drive it Day. The route followed many lanes and side roads, passing through picturesque villages and beautiful scenery, leading us to our lunch destination at the Sherborne Hotel. A private room was at our disposal and 52 members enjoyed an excellent carvery meal. After lunch we set off on the second part of the run through scenic countryside with beautiful views of Milton Abbey School and on through Milton Abbas before returning to our starting point for afternoon tea. Many thanks to Roger and Penny who succeeded in setting a route that avoided any clash with other clubs also out on Drive it Day.
