The Dorset Historic Motor Club (DHMC) challenged us again to a skittles match, which has now become an annual event. We were invited as their guests to The Hamworthy Club and both clubs raised a team of 16 players. After 3 rounds of sometimes noisy skittles, DHMC won by 10 pins. The evening ended with a game of ‘Killer’; each player needing to knock down the single pin that was set up to remain in the game. This knockout game was won by Pauline Flay from 1020. Pauline was presented with a bottle of wine as a reward for her efforts. We thank Roger Toyne, the DHMC committee and members for their invitation and again making us so welcome.
