Due to the very wet weather over the previous weeks, this popular event moved from the usual field, which was waterlogged, to a much better site within the park and in front of Breamore House.
1020 had booked a large stand at this show to enable us to put on a special display of MGBs, as a tribute to the 50th anniversary of the model. Peter Stacey, the chairman of Poole Bay Classics, asked the 1020 display of MGBs to parade in the arena and then requested other MGs on the showground to join them if they wished to.
The weather was better than expected and the day was fully enjoyed by 21 members and 2 guests who arrived on the stand. Although the MGB was well represented we had a range of other models including a classic MG TF, several MG As, 1 MG C as well as a selection of the modern MG F and TF.
