The MGF Project by H.A.S.

So… in the beginning that was an MGF that didn’t run. With spares plucked from the workshop floor (some already rejects from previous repairs), Trevor and his crew got it up and running and through it’s MOT. Now knowing that they had a solid basis to work upon, the modifications began…

Unfortunately, some 5 miles later, the previously rejected parts demonstrated why they had been rejected – but at least it now had an MOT!

Trevor and crew removed the entire engine and gearbox to effect the necessary repairs – note how the whole assembly, complete with subframe comes out as one. Literally the whole unit bolts up under the car and is then plumbed back in.

On 29th May 2007, Trevor decided to replace the standard alloys, with a set of black hairpins on lower profile tyres – the difference in look is outstanding!
